My parents’ jobs
MY PARENT’S JOBS
Now I’m going to write something about my parents’ jobs. They are both teachers at the secondary school in Anger. My mother teaches Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, PE and History and my father also teaches Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and PE but instead of History he teaches IT.
I think they really like their jobs, because they like to teach children their knowledge about the subjects they have. And they are calm most of the time even when the pupils are a bit louder than they should be or not as concentrated as my parents want to. And they also have a lot of free time, because school ends at 13: 10 and so they had enough time for me and my sister, when we were younger or nowadays they can prepare everything for the next school day easily.
But I never wanted to become a teacher, because I can’t stand the noise of all the children or the stress to teach them something, they don’t know. I’m actually good at teamwork, but only with people at my age or older ones, because we are interested in the same things and when I study at the university I can talk with them about the whole studying stuff, because they have to learn the same things like me and so we can exchange our opinions about any issues.
But on the other hand I understand why my parents became teachers, because it’s great to see young children getting older and cleverer. And when you know that YOU taught them those things in all the years, it has to be an indescribable feeling.
I actually want to become a surgeon, because my sister is a nurse, who works in the operation room and every time she tells me something about her work it is very interesting for me. And because I’m not afraid of seeing blood and I also want to help people, I think surgeon would be my dream job. I know it is a hard and long way to become a surgeon, but I always was ambitious and I exactly knew what I wanted and now I know that I want to become a surgeon and I also know that I can do this. Because when you think that you’re never able to manage an important thing you want to do, you will never manage anything.
